Our retreats are planned to give our attendees a fully-immersive experience. With customized itineraries, expert speakers, culinary delights, and stunning locations, our attendees learn all weekend—from the moment they arrive to well after they leave. These retreats are one of the greatest ways to form deep interpersonal relationships that improve businesses and change lives.
Offered in early spring (March-April) and early fall (September-October), MMC Retreats bring community members from across the world together. This is no ordinary business retreat: our mission is to provide a safe space to learn, grow, share, and transform. There is time for reflection, work, rest, and special surprises along the way. The amount you will accomplish in one weekend will surprise and delight you.

Meet your host: megan metzger
The idea for MMC retreats began for me in 2018 after attending over a dozen conferences and even planning a few! I loved how conferences bring networking opportunities and idea-sharing that come from getting multiple growth-minded individuals together in one room.
YET, after attending these conferences I was always overwhelmed, tired, and had dozens of pages of notes that ended up in a drawer never to be looked at again.
So, I created a way to create the community but to be able to deep dive into topics so attendees would walk away with an actionable plan. Over the 7 previous retreats we have held I have had the pleasure of watching many entrepreneurs gain confidence, gather new ideas, implement time-saving strategies, and grow as individuals and business owners. These retreats are my favorite weekends of the year and I really hope to see you at one soon!

Candice Cartner
Candice is actually my own business coach!
She's an executive coach and licensed therapist who helps “stuck” business leaders build clear visions and create mindset shifts to move past barriers in their lives, work, and relationships.
She applies her expertise in executive leadership and organizational psychology to diagnose problem areas while supporting business leaders in developing skills, strategies, and evaluative tools to achieve measurable evolution in their outcomes.

For the last 13 years, Candice has helped hundreds of clients achieve their personal and professional goals through her uniquely developed process of mindset mastery while aligning their values and vision to reach beyond the potential they knew they had.
Her specialty is working with people who struggle with motivation, confidence, worry, boundaries, burnout, imposter syndrome, leading others, and other things that may get in the way of reaching entrepreneurial (and ultimately life!) goals. She has a strong belief in authenticity and sees “business culture” rules and norms for what they really are—suggestions that work for some people, but not everyone.
Candice has an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Appalachian State University. She is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor. Prior to opening her coaching and therapy practices, she worked as a therapist in the university setting, as well as serving in executive leadership at two large non-profit agencies. She lives in North Carolina with her husband and two young children.

No problem! After you register for the retreat, you will receive a confirmation email. In this email, there is a quick food survey to let us know about any allergies or restrictions you may have.

Unfortunately, there are no refunds. This is because there are a lot of details and logistics to plan and book in advance. Last minute guest changes are very difficult to accommodate considering the number of rooms, beds, catered meals, dietary restrictions, and all the activities.

While the home can accommodate 30 guests, we like to maximize learning opportunities and will limit the group to 15 attendees including Megan and her team.

The proper attire helps ensure you are alert and ready to learn. Please refrain from wearing pajamas, bathing suits, or inappropriate clothing to the sessions.

We've prepared an information sheet with all the retreat policies ahead of time. We want to make sure you and everyone else has the best possible experience at the retreat!
