With 25 years of business ownership experience, I help founders build stronger businesses through practical strategy, stronger leadership, and operational clarity.
I knew at eight years old that I wanted to become an executive trainer. My mom worked for the Center for Creative Leadership for more than 30 years, and as a single mom, she often brought me to work with her. Every now and then, I was allowed to watch leadership programs through a two-way mirror, and I was fascinated. Leadership development became the dream.
In college, I even created my own concentration in Training and Development, which was approved by the dean of the business school. But while I was still in college, I started Preferred ChildCare, and it grew so quickly that my original dream took a back seat.
For the next 15 years, I poured everything into building Preferred ChildCare.
It Started With One Dream
Then, in 2016, my dream came full circle when I began consulting with nanny agency owners while continuing to grow PCC. It wasn't just alive again. It had become something even better than I imagined.
Today, MMC partners with founders of relationship-driven service businesses who want to lead with greater clarity, build stronger teams, and create businesses that support the lives they want to live.
I believe great leadership isn't limited to one industry or one type of business. The challenges may look different on the surface, but helping people grow with confidence, clarity, and purpose has inspired me from the very beginning.

Meet Megan

I know what it feels like to make difficult decisions, balance competing priorities, and carry the responsibility that comes with leadership. That's why my approach is practical, collaborative, and grounded in experience.
My role isn't to tell you how to run your business. It's to ask better questions, offer honest perspective, and help you find the clarity and confidence to move forward.
Whether we're solving a specific challenge or planning for long-term growth, my goal is always the same: to help you build a stronger business and enjoy the journey a little more along the way.

Liz Faulkner

Liz Faulkner is a virtual assistant from Vancouver, Canada who is currently living in Thailand. She is the woman behind our online courses, marketing pieces, retreats, and numerous other creative projects that we come up with. She brings our ideas, tools, and resources to life. Earlier in life, Liz was an English as a Second Language instructor for almost 20 years. Her passion for teaching is visible in her guides, pdfs, course layouts, and newsletters. When she’s not on her laptop, she’s baking, swimming, traveling, or hanging out with her husband and dog.
Candice Cartner

Candice Cartner is the one who continues to push us to be better than we were yesterday. She will even pull us along when we don’t want to make the climb alone. Candice has a resume so long we won’t attempt to include it all here. The highlights include being a licensed therapist, executive coach, and having the ability to make an entire room of strong entrepreneurs cry! She’s got a background in people, performance, motivation, organizational development, leadership, and all things growth. She offers a balance of challenge and support that keeps us at our best and always moving forward. Candice helps bring our wild ideas to life and gives us the direction we need. She is a frequent contributor to our work and can be found at multiple client retreats. When she isn’t kicking my butt, she can be found outside, preferably in the mountains or somewhere coastal where she is voted most likely to not answer her phone or email.
Gerry Ponce

Gerry Ponce is the person who takes the big ideas and makes sure they actually land. With 10 years of experience supporting CEOs, founders, and executive chairmen across technology, engineering, and consulting, he has built a reputation for bringing calm, structure, and follow-through to fast-moving environments. He has worked alongside leadership at an AI and cybersecurity think tank, a Silicon Valley tech firm, and a growing engineering company, managing everything from complex calendars to high-stakes communications. Gerry is fluent in English and Spanish, with conversational French and German. A Midwest kid at heart, he later studied in Monterrey, Mexico and has called both cities home ever since. When he is not building runways, he can be found tending to his extensive plant collection, hiking a mountain, or keeping a close eye on the financial markets.

Anne Doyle has a gift for editing and a way with words that feels like a true art form. She is the one behind the scenes who helps the stories we share come to life. She also ensures that our written words flow smoothly and accurately convey the goals and tone of MMC. Anne received her bachelor's degree in Professional and Technical Writing, and recently graduated with her master’s. When she is not creating masterpieces on her keyboard, Anne enjoys reading and hiking.
KM Torres

KM Torres brings both creativity and strategy to his work, with a strong ability to connect marketing and messaging in a way that feels clear, aligned, and impactful. Behind the scenes, he supports MMC’s visibility by ensuring our content is thoughtful, engaging, and consistent across platforms.
KM holds a degree in Communications from the Philippines and works as a Digital Marketing and Content Coordinator, supporting a variety of clients while continuously refining his skills and bringing ideas to life.

Kate Jozefecick is a dynamic digital marketer based out of Jacksonville, FL. She has over eight years of industry experience specializing in email marketing, website design, project management, and social media strategies. A University of New Hampshire graduate, Kate's adaptability, creativity, and attention to detail shine in every project. Alongside her digital skills, she runs a photography business, showcasing her diverse talents. Outside of work, Kate enjoys cross-country road trips with her husband and dogs, being in nature, and sipping on cappuccinos at local coffee shops. In every endeavor, Kate leaves a lasting mark, embodying passion, creativity, and dedication.
Karima Neghmouche

Karima Neghmouche is one of the most brilliant designers we have ever met. She can take a vision or idea and bring it to life in a fully-immersive brand experience.
Karima works behind the scenes here at MMC and is the one who helps us create a strong brand identity that directly influences our client experience.
Karima was born and raised in West Virginia, then moved to Louisville, KY after college and now lives in Raleigh, North Carolina. She is expecting her first child, orders Indian food weekly, and has three big dogs she loves (despite being constantly covered in fur).
Karima is passionate about people, taking human-first approaches to business, and having a job that supports your life (not the other way around.)
